LOCATION AND FREE TIME

The Brodce Residence is being built in the town of Brodce nad Jizerou, where it will create a completely new street in a quiet part of the village. The location of the project is great because it offers both a connection to the city center and nature. The Lower Pojizeří, in which Brodce is located, offers, as well as the Bohemian Paradise and the Giant Mountains a few kilometers away, a truly diverse range of leisure activities such as hiking, cycling and skiing. You can go for walks through picturesque meadows, forests or along the banks of the Jizera River, which will also delight you if you like fishing.

If you are more of a cultural type, you will certainly appreciate the theater, cinema, museum or perhaps the castle in nearby Mladá Boleslav .

A WORD FROM THE ARCHITECT.

The plot is characterized by its elongated shape, which is suitable for development with terraced houses from an urban perspective. A residential street connecting ul. K Úvozu with ul. Dobrovická was designed at the northern edge of the plot, thus offering the individual houses an optimal southern orientation. The architecture of the buildings tries to disrupt the uniformity of the compact development. The second floor is intentionally cantilevered above the ground floor plan to create a covered courtyard in the street parterre, and to create a naturally covered terrace in the private part of the garden. The upper floor does not fill the entire width of the plot, which makes the mass structure of the development more spread out and lightens the overall character. Modern materials and facade details clearly demonstrate the investor's primary effort to create high-quality buildings of contemporary architecture.
